It's all go!
BUT, despite all that, I really should have put something on here, so here is my thought for the month............
If you happen to have someone you've neglected recently, maybe someone you meant to pop round and say hi to but didn't get the chance, make a point of doing it next time you're free. It only takes a minute. Rather than updating a blog, watching whatever you have saved on Sky+ or playing another level on the latest computer game, pick up the phone or jump in the car and go say hello to someone you haven't seen in a while, because there's no worse feeling than going to that door to be told that person isn't there any more...........

Fuzz-tastic!
Anyway, I managed to book 2 seats at the Grosvenor Cinema on Ashton Lane to see...... you guessed it...... HOT FUZZ!!
I was as happy as a priest in a....... no...... wait........ can't say that...... this is a family show....... erm......... happy as a.......... well, I was happy as a happy thing! I managed to giggle like a little girl (or Brian) for the duration of the film.
Unfortunately, my sentiment wasn't shared. Apparently it was 'stoopid' and not funny. "Are the two not the same?" I thought to myself......... It seems not. Next time I'll let her choose the film. Chick flick hell, here we come!

Me, myself and I....
In other news, I'm able to breathe again which has been a big help to my day to day operation. I'm also planning a wee trip to Aberdeen next month to compete in a works tourney and visit some friends. I also managed to get time off for the summer so we can head back to Canada. I can't wait!!

Jack is back!
Well, back to work tomorrow........ but TONIGHT...... tonight we see the return of Jackl Bauer in day 6 of '24'. It's a 2 hour special to kick off, so I'll be incommunicado come 9pm!
In other news, I'm hoping to get the summer holiday planned over the next month or so. We're heading back to Canada to visit Jen's family again, but this time in July when the weather means I'll be able to show off my legs! I don't know if Canada is ready for that, and one thing's for sure, the place'll never be the same after the experience! I just need to make sure I Can get the time off work and raise the money for the flights!
I went and got myself a haircut today as well. Nice neat hair to go with my newly sprouted beard. The City Barber in Glasgow is my salon of choice these days. The banter is always good and the aussie addition to the staff is rather easy on the eye........
Off to iron the uniform then.........
